Description:

1) U.S. M1917 style helmet with U.S. 5th Infantry Division insignia painted on the front, inside shell brim stamped "ZC188", helmet liner, chinstrap loops, and leather chinstrap. 2) U.S. M1917 style helmet painted gold with the 6th Infantry Division insignia painted on the top, two gold stars painted on the left and right sides, the words "Sixth" and "DIV." painted on the front and back brim, helmet liner leather strap and chinstrap loops and inside shell brim stamped "238/ZD". 3), 4), 5) Three "Brodie" style helmets that were used as "trench art", more than likely after the war. Each helmet has a colorful camo paint scheme pattern using light to bright colors not typical for camouflage use. (2 have helmet liners, 1 has canvas chinstrap).

Rating Definition:

1) Very good with textured green finish and some flaking on the insignia paint. The helmet liner has some separation, and leather chinstrap has some minor wear. 2) Very good with a few minor areas of pitting on the inside of the shell. The painted surfaces are strong, helmet liner and leather chinstrap absent. 3), 4), 5) Good to very good with strong painted surfaces and some areas of minor rust. The helmet liners are good.
