Description:

Manufactured in 1917. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block Colt patents and address on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "H" above the slide stop. The left side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "GHS". Fitted with a long smooth trigger, checkered wide hammer, flat top rear sight, short grip safety, checkered slide catch and thumb safety, smooth flat mainspring housing, checkered walnut grips, unmarked two-tone pinned base magazine and a "P/H" marked blue barrel.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing some areas of brown patina, bright edge wear, scattered handling marks and spotting. The replacement grips are very good, with a few light dings. Mechanically excellent.
