Only 367 Second Generation Single Action Army revolvers were produced in this configuration. By comparison, 8,228 were made in the same configuration but finished blue and 16,387 were made in .45 caliber with a blue finish and 5 1/2 inch barrel length. Manufactured in 1969, this example has the standard markings and features with the matching serial number marked on the bottom of the frame and on the grip straps under the left panel. The cylinder face is marked "M907", and the matching assembly number "136" is marked on the loading gate and right rear of the frame. The "VP" in a triangle proofmark and a "V" are stamped on the left side of the trigger guard. There is a "K" stamped on the right side of the trigger guard. It is fitted with a set of smooth walnut grips and includes an original unnumbered, but correctly marked, factory stagecoach box and manual.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. 99% of the original nickel plated finish remains with some scratches/flaking on the left side of the hammer, some scattered minor spots of flaking/oxidation and a faint drag line on the cylinder. The grips are near new with some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent with crisp markings. The box is very good with storage type wear primarily on the edges and corners.
