Manufactured in 1981 with the standard two-line address on the top of the barrel, "COLT SHERIFF'S MODEL" on the left side, "COLT SAA .44-40" on the right, and the two-line/three-date patent marking on the left side of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt trade mark. The cylinder is marked "44-40" and has the correct partial serial number "8202" on the front face. The full matching serial number is marked on frame and left side of grip straps under the grip and it is fitted correctly hand numbered checkered grips with the Rampant Colt and American Eagle motifs in relief. It has a blue barrel, cylinder, and rear strap with a casehardened frame and a plum blue trigger guard/front strap. It is complete with the original, numbers matching factory box, a fitted wood display case with glass top and a shipping box with "SHERIFFS" stamped on one side. The factory box also contains the original papers. The case has a inlet for a secondary cylinder (not included). A total of 1275 Sheriff's Model P-1932s were produced between 1980 and 1985.

Near new with original factory box and case. The revolver retains 99% plus original finish with some faint handling/storage type marks. The grips are also near new with some residue in the sharp checkering. The box has some storage type wear and the case is as new.
