Manufactured in 1971, this revolver has the standard markings and features. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and on the grip straps under the left grip panel. The cylinder face is marked "M760". The matching assembly number "79" is marked on the loading gate and on the right rear of the frame. The left side of the trigger guard is stamped with the "VP" triangle proofmark and with a "V". The right side is stamped with a "K". It is fitted with a set of checkered plastic American Eagle/Rampant Colt grips hand marked "760". An unnumbered but properly marked original stagecoach box is included.

Excellent plus with 99% of the original blue finish remains with some scattered minor handling marks, minor high edge wear and a faint drag line on the cylinder. 99% of the case colors remain with a small spot of oxidation on the loading gate. The grips are both excellent. The box is very good with taped split corners, edge wear and some flaking.
