Manufactured in 1983 by the Colt Custom Shop, this revolver is one of 250 produced in this configuration (500 total) known as the "Armory Edition". It has a fixed blade front sight and a frame notch rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45 ACP", and the one-line address is marked on the top. The left side of the frame has the standard two-line/three-date patent information. The extra cylinder is 45 Long Colt and both are matched to the gun. The grips are checkered plastic and have the Rampant Colt and American Eagle in relief. The grips and grip strap are numbered "3942". It comes with a correctly marked Colt "wood" cardboard box, papers and original shipping box. Also included is the original receipt dating the order to January 31, 1985, and indicating that the revolver was shipped as a 45ACP with blue finish and casehardened frame, additional 45 LC cylinder and original final sales price of $435.00.

Near new in original box. The revolver appears to have scarcely seen the light of day since it was ordered and has only slight marks on each cylinder and some faint handling/storage marks. The grips are as new. The factory box is very good as is the shipping box.
