This revolver is one of less than a thousand Model P-1933 produced between 1980 and 1985. It is made all the more rare by who it was shipped to; the included factory letter indicates that this example, in its current configuration, was the sole gun shipped on July 2, 1981 to Ron Stilwell. The letter further explains that Stilwell was an executive at the time and "later became Vice-President of Military Marketing". Records also indicate this firearm was shipped with a dual cylinder and a presentation case. Stilwell later left Colt and started the Ronan Corporation. The set remains complete with a unlabeled factory box containing original papers and a secondary matching numbered 44 Special cylinder. The "SHERIFFS" stamped shipping box also contains the correct glass topped wooden presentation case. The revolver has the standard markings and features including the matching partial serial number "9804" on the cylinder and the full serial number on the bottom of the frame, on the grip straps under the left grip panel and "39804" hand marked on the underside of the smooth walnut grips.

Near new. The revolver and additional cylinder have only light handling/storage marks overall. The box is in good condition with some storage type wear. The glass and side pieces on the lid are loose, but it is otherwise near new. Overall an excellent complete set.
