Manufactured in 1940. With drift adjustable rear and elevation adjustable blade front sights. Colt address and patent dates on the top of the slightly tapered barrel, marked "THE WOODSMAN" on the left side of the frame, Rampant Colt motif stamped on the left side of the slide behind "COLT" and "AUTOMATIC/CAL..22 LONG RIFLE". Checkered walnut grips and 10 round solid blue magazine which is marked "COLT WOODSMAN/CAL.22 L.R." on the bottom. Includes black Colt box with papers.

Excellent with 98% plus original blue finish and some minor scattered handling marks. Grips are excellent. Mechanically excellent. Box is poor as reconstructed.
