Description:

Introduced in 1996, redesigned for closed-bolt, semi-automatic operation only, these were assembled using GI parts along with a new production receiver. Hooded blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with a hand adjustable gas port, 2-position safety and left-side cocking knob. The top of the receiver bears the model and caliber markings, with the early "COLLECTORS CORNER/CHARDON. OHIO/PAT.PEND" marking over the three-digit serial number. Smooth forearm and pistol grip stock, with green canvas sling and a steel buttplate with flip-up shoulder rest. With a tan canvas magazine pouch and six extra magazines.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the original phosphate finish, showing some light handling marks overall and a small amount of brown spotting. The forearm and buttstock show some mild dings and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
