This small revolver was designed by Charles-Francois Galand of Liege and Paris. The trigger guard acts as a lever that brings the barrel and cylinder forward to extract the spent cases and allow for easy reloading. It has a dovetailed round blade front and frame notch rear sights and smooth walnut grips. The left barrel flat has a "*/N" proof followed by "GALAND/PARIS". Other Belgian proofs are found on the cylinder face. The serial number "17074" is marked on the lower left side and "42" is marked on most of the components.

Fine. The revolver retains 90% of the blue finish with some minor scratches and marks, high edge wear and a mottled gray patina on the grip straps. The hammer and trigger are mostly bright with some spotting. The grips are very good with some minor scrapes and small dings. Mechanically fine with mostly clear markings.
