Per the included Colt factory letter, the "Silver Snake" edition is the first stainless steel firearm made by the company. Featuring an adjustable white outlined rear sight, and red ramp front. The left side of the barrel is chemically etched with a floral pattern bordering an unfurled banner with the dates "1836" and "1982" with Samuel Colt's signature in the middle of the banner. Also depicted is the Colt factory dome, and the Colt Custom Shop logo. The right side of the barrel is similarly embellished, with the same floral pattern, dome and custom shop logo bordering an unfurled banner reading "SILVER SNAKE .357 MAGNUM". The right side of the frame features a chemically etched coiled python. Fitted with Pachmayr Presentation grips with Colt Custom Shop Medallions inset. Listed as one of 250 units produced. Includes Colt "woodgrain" box with internal styrofoam sleeve numbered to the gun and papers.

Near new in box, with only minimal handling marks. Grips are excellent. Box is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
