Description:

Manufactured in 1856 with front pin and groove rear sights with "ADDRESS COL. COLT/NEW YORK USA" on top of the barrel. It has a part-octagon loading lever, full fluted cylinder marked "PATENTED SEPT. 10th 1860", checkered hammer, smooth varnished walnut grip, and the serial number marked on the bottom of the butt. It also includes a brass flask with an "American Eagle/E PLURIBUS UNUM" motif and stars on the sides.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver retains 50% of the original blue finish with a brown patina on the balance. Case colors are visible on the loading lever. The grip is also fine with some wear on the lower edges and some light scratches. It is mechanically fine and all markings are clear. The flask is fine with a dark aged patina and some dents.
