Manufactured in early 1908, there is a two-position Lyman beach combination front sight and the standard elevation adjustable rear sight. The barrel has the Fifth Style marking on the top flat and is absent of the Winchester oval proof. The receiver also does not have a proofmark. The matching serial number is stamped on the bottom tang and the top tang marking is covered by a short range Lyman rear peep sight. Mounted on a 12-groove round walnut forearm and straight grip stock with curved steel buttplate.

Excellent, 95% plus original blue finish remains with some scattered minor surface scratches, a few areas of light freckling and some cycling wear. The hammer retains most of the bright vivid original case colors. The wood is also excellent with scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
