The Model 1906 was produced from 1918 to 1924, this rifle was manufactured in 1919. Features a fixed dovetail blade front and adjustable rear sights on a smooth gumwood pistol grip stock and contour fluted forearm with a "half-nickel" finish. The barrel, magazine, trigger, hammer, and takedown knob are blued, with the receiver, bolt, trigger guard and upper and lower tangs being nickel plated. The left side of the barrel has the standard two line address/patent dates and model marking, "--MOD. 1906--" with the caliber designation marked at the breech. The upper tang is stamped with the standard three line trademark information with the serial number being marked on the bottom of the frame and lower tang.

Very fine overall with 60% plus original blue finish on the barrel, magazine, and hammer. Displays scattered mild pitting. Receiver has 90% of the original nickel finish with several spots on the left side of frame showing areas of corrosion and loss. Wood is very good with scattered small scratches and pressure indentations. Mechanically excellent.
