This exceptional example was manufactured in 1927 and was formerly part of the Joe Kiser Collection. It is marked with "-MODEL 92-WINCHESTER-44 W.C.F.-/-TRADE MARK-" on the left side of the barrel near the breech and the two-line address on the opposite side. The upper tang is marked with the three-line trade mark and "MADE IN U.S.A." marking, and the bottom of the frame has the serial number. It is equipped with a full length magazine, pinned blade front sight, combination notch and folding ladder rear sight graduated to "20", a saddle ring staple (missing ring) on the left side of the receiver, and is fitted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with single barrel band and smooth carbine buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The carbine retains 97% of the original blue finish with finish wear primarily confined to the barrel band and buttplate which have a brown patina, a few small flakes on the receiver, and otherwise only light handling/storage marks. The wood is excellent with only faint handling/storage marks. Mechanically excellent with crisp markings. This is truly one of the best '92s we have had the privilege of cataloging.
