Each of these locks is marked "BOUTET/ET FILS/VERSAILLES" (et Fils = and Son in French) ahead of the hammer and have light engraving patterns including a mythological creature with a serpent tail, bird wings, forked tongue, and camel like forebody and head. A is a left side lock whereas B is a right side lock indicating they were likely part of a double rifle or side by side percussion shotgun.

Very good. The surfaces have a gray patina with some brown patina forming. There is some light pitting scattered throughout. The engraving remains crisp, and the action is excellent.
