Manufactured in 1934, the second year of production. Winchester manufactured only about 5,700 Model 65 rifles between 1933 and 1947. It has the standard barrel and tang markings, oval proof on the top of the receiver and barrel at the breech, and the serial number marked on the bottom of the receiver. It features a dovetailed ramped blade front sight, adjustable buckhorn sporting rear sight, blue finish, and is mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a forend cap and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with some fading on the moving parts and edges along with a few small marks and scratches. The wood is very good with numerous slight scrapes and dings. Mechanically excellent with clear markings.
