Manufactured in 1953 with a hooded ramp front sight, a filler block in the rear sight dovetail, a non-factory Lyman receiver mounted adjustable peep sight, a 3/4 magazine, metal forearm cap, sling swivel stud, and is fitted with checkered pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm with a Winchester hard rubber grip cap and a checkered steel buttplate.

Fine as partially refinished (wood). The balance of rifle retains 95% of the blue finish with some fading on the loading gate and lever, wear on the hammer and high edge, and a few minor scratches and marks. There is some brown patina and slight pitting on the buttplate. The revarnished wood is very fine with smooth glossy varnish and only slight handling/storage marks. Mechanically fine with legible markings.
