This model was manufactured between 1910 and 1936 and was similar to the Model 1907 but with a stronger action for the new Winchester 401 Self-Loading cartridge. Only around 21,000 are believed to have been manufactured with this example being a low number, 6121. This example was manufactured in 1911 and features a raised front blade sight and rear sight with two folding leaves, detachable magazine, and is fitted with a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered Winchester buttplate
Excellent. The rifle retains 90% plus of the original blue finish with some light scratches especially on the left side of the frame, wear on the forearm cap, and light thinning on the barrel and at the high edges. The wood is also excellent with a few slight dings and faint scratches. Mechanically excellent with clear markings. Winchester Model 1910 .401 self loading rifles are seldom found in excellent condition!
