This is a late WWII K43 rifle manufactured by the Walther factory in 1945 that has been fitted with a ZF4 sniper scope and mount. It has the rough cast type receiver marked on the left side with the following; "Eagle/359/K43/ac45" followed by the serial number "3257d". It has a rough cast bolt cover with the hollow cocking knob and hold open latch on the right side. It has the late stamped action cover with sliding dust cover. It is fitted with a laminated stock and hand guard, with a sheet metal cupped buttplate on the end of the stock. The stock has a faint single "Eagle/359" Waffenamt on the left side with a single Waffenamt proof in the pistol grip area. The ZF4 scope is marked "Gw ZF 4/37745/ddx" and the mount has a small Waffenamt proof and has been numbered "9489",(mismatched). The locking lever marked, "fest/lose". The scope is fitted with a reproduction rubber eye piece, rain shield, leather and wooden plug lens caps. The rifle is complete with a box magazine marked "gcb/K43" on the side. It is complete with a sheet metal front sight cover, cleaning rod, two spare magazine inside a post-war magazine pouch, rubber muzzle covers, leather sling WWII German oiler and small parts.

Very fine with 95% of the wartime finish overall with wear and thinning on the edges and high spots with thinning on the action cover. The reproduction scope retrains 95% of its blued finish overall with the original mount retaining 98% original phosphate finish. The optics are clear but a little hazy. Both the stock and hand guard have minimal handling marks and both were painted black at one point then the paint was removed/cleaned and the wood maybe lightly sanded. A good example of a late war K43 rifle.
