Produced on order for the Swiss Army; the first military force to adopt DWM's Luger as a standard sidearm. It showcases a number of features including front and "V" notch rear sights, with the "Swiss Cross in Sunburst" stamping on top of the chamber, "+/V" Swiss inspector's mark on the left side of the extension, and Swiss Cross stamps on the extension and rapid-taper barrel. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, frame and rear toggle link, with the front of the frame also marked "P/22". It is fitted with the early style flat top breechblock and dished toggle knobs, wide trigger, grip safety, checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with metal disc inserts on the hardwood base, which is marked "H" at the rear. Includes a brown leather military flap holster marked "R.TROHLER/41/MUNCHWILEN" between the belt loops, "+/A" on the inside of the flap, and fitted with a brown leather shoulder strap.

Excellent with 90% of the original blue finish, showing a gray and brown patina on the grip straps, bright high edge wear, and scattered light handling marks. 60% of the original straw color is present, fading gently on the trigger with a small amount of spotting. Grips are very fine with a few dings and dark spots. The holster is very good with some mild verdigris buildup and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
