This controlled feed bolt action style rifle was expertly crafted by John Bolliger of Mountain Riflery. Bolliger is himself an avid hunter and conservationist and has been building high end custom rifles since the 1960s. Some of his rifles have set sales records at auction and others have helped him raise more money for conservation groups such as the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep than any other riflemaker in history. The barrel was made without provisions for fixed sights and is marked "Dennis J. Winter" on top, "270 Winchester/SHORT MAGNUM" on the left, and "John Bolliger/RIFLEMAKER" on the right side. The serial number is marked on the tang and the partial "5380" is marked on the bolt. It has a jeweled magazine follower and bolt with a blued handle with checkered design on the knob. It is fitted on a finely triple -x- fancy English walnut pistol grip stock cut from carefully selected and aged walnut with fluer-de-lis checkering on the forearm and grip, contrasting ebony forend cap, blued grip cap, shadow line cheek rest, checkered steel buttplate, and sling swivel studs. It is equipped with a high end 3-10 x 42A Habicht Swarovski scope with a silver eagle on the left side. The scope has the astoundingly clear optics expected from Swarovski.

Near new as custom built. The rifle has only slight handling/storage marks.
