The Reichs Zeugmeisterei (RZM) served as the quartermasters office of the National Socialists, and later became the chief authority on textiles in the Third Reich. Fixed sights and standard markings, with "crown/N" proofs on the barrel, chamber hood and slide, and the addition of the etched circular "RZM" logo on the left side of the slide between the model marking and the serrations. The interior of the slide is numbered to match the frame. Serrated ring hammer, 90 degree safety and checkered streaked brown plastic "WALTHER" banner grips with matching colored grip extension.

Excellent, with 98% of the bright original high polish blue finish, showing hints of bright edge wear. The otherwise excellent grips show a few tiny chips on the edges, with the upper edges flexing outward slightly and a thin crack in the back strap. Mechanically excellent.
