Dated 1939 over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/63" proofs and the spread winged eagle firing proof appear on the right side of the chamber with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/63" is on the upper left rear of the barrel, and a small asterisk is on the right side. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. The magazine is nickel finished with an aluminum base numbered to match the pistol, and the grips are checkered walnut. With a brown leather flap holster marked "C.HEINICHEN/DRESDEN/1939" and "WaA706" on the rear and an extra magazine.

Very fine with 70% of the original blue finish showing a plum patina on the extension, mixed brown and gray on the grip straps, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The grips are also very fine with some dings and dark spots. The holster is fair as arsenal repaired with replaced belt loops, scuffs and dings. Mechanically excellent.
