Manufactured circa 1883. Single brass bead sight, with the rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDEN CONN. BERNARD STEEL", light floral and border engraving at the breech, cylinder chokes, 2 1/2 inch chambers and an extractor. The frame is marked "4" on the water table, with fine scroll engraving overall, hunting dog scenes on the locks and on the underside, dual triggers and checkered rebounding hammers. Checkered pistol grip stock, with engraved splinter forearm hardware, hard rubber grip cap, "CB" monogrammed shield behind the upper tang and a skeleton buttplate with checkered wood. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Good. A strong Damascus pattern is present on the barrels, with a number of light dents. Traces of original color are present in the protected areas. The stock is fair, with an unknown material, possibly some kind of rubber, on the forearm, dents, dings and scuffs. Mechanically good.
