Part of the same sequential serialized grouping as the Model 27-2 in the previous lot, this revolver has been engraved, inlaid and finished to match, showing all the same gold border work, the same animal and cowboy scenes on the frame, side plate and crane, unmarked inscription disc on the trigger guard and smooth black steer horn grips. A photocopy of the factory letter in the previous lot is also included.

Near mint as professionally custom embellished, with 98% plus blue finish, showing a few small gray spots on the left side of the rib below the front sight ramp and on the ejector rod, along with minor handling marks overall. A few thin age cracks are visible on the butt of the grips, with a few small scratches around the screw. Mechanically excellent. A rare chance to own a fantastically decorated sequential serialized pair of Smith & Wesson Magnum Revolvers.
