Manufactured circa 1956-57. Fixed front ramp and adjustable rear sight. Finely checkered top strap with a matching barrel rib and grooved forestrap and back strap. Casehardened serrated trigger and checkered hammer. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions.

Excellent. The revolver retains 97% plus of the original blue finish with some minor oxidation on the front sight and a faint cylinder drag line. The hammer and trigger have vivid case colors. The markings are clear. The grips are very good with some minor scratches, dings, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Five screw model manufactured from 1917 to 1940. Standard factory barrel and frame markings. Blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger. Fitted with checkered grips with S&W medallions. It has a correct type S&W .38 Regulation Police box numbered to gun.
