Description:

This Colt Model 1905 Military was manufactured in 1906. The right side of the slide has the standard two-line caliber designation while the left side has the two-line patent information and Hartford address. The circled Rampant Colt trademark is behind the slide serrations on the left side. The serial number "904" is marked on the left side of the frame just above the trigger guard. There are British proofs on the chamber, slide and frame. It has a rounded blade front sight and notch rear sight along with checkered walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Fine as period refinished. 95% of the refurbished dip blue finish remains with some edge wear, various minor marks and numerous scratches and a few small spots of light pitting under the blue. There is a golden patina on the hammer. The grips are very good with some scrapes in the mostly crisp checkering and a hairline crack in the right panel. Mechanically fine with clear markings.
