Manufactured without sights on the medium weight free floating barrel. The rifle is equipped with a Tasco variable power scope. The barrel, receiver and scope are finished matte black. The rifle is fitted with a black synthetic pistol grip Choate manufactured skeleton buttstock, stippled grip and forearm area. The stock is marked "Designed by Major John Plaster/Manufactured for Savage Arms, Inc. by/Choate Machine & Tool Company" on the left side. Fitted with a folding bi-pod, black vented recoil pad, adjustable butt rest and black nylon web sling.

Excellent overall with 99% original black finish and only minimal handling marks. Stock is excellent with scattered small handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Optics are clear.
