Manufactured from 1917 to 1928. Top of slide has the two line address/patent/caliber marking with the frame having "SAFE" and "FIRE" markings only. Fitted with checkered Savage logo grips.

Excellent overall with 98% original blue finish, and some scattered minor handling marks. Grips are excellent. Mechanically excellent.

Early Model 1907-09 number 1 Modification with the top of the slide marked with the two-line address/patent, date followed by the large "CAL 32" and the serial number marked on the bottom of the frame. Unmarked safety position, fixed sights, smooth magazine release, casehardened trigger and fitted with checkered metal grips with the "SAVAGE / QUALITY" Indian head logo in the center.

Very fine overall, with 89% original blue finish, displays edge wear and handling marks throughout, primarily concentrated on the blued grips, and high points. Grips are very fine, with clear lettering and pictures. Mechanically excellent.
