Description:

The plaque by James Earle Fraser (Am: 1871-1941) depicts a side view facial image of TR with one of his favorite expressions stamped in block letters on the bottom of the plaque "Aggressive fighting for the right is the noblest sport the world affords." The plaque is stamped in the upper right corner "Fraser 19 (copyright symbol) 20". Size 12-x 10 inches. An identical plaque like this is hanging in the White House.

Excellent with a well aged ocher patina.
