Description:

1. The tall magnificent Indian Chief is fully dressed in his Native American attire with feather shield in one hand and a tomahawk in the other hand. The Chief is looking forward with a determined facial expression of how to defeat his adversary. The fully feathered headdress can be removed completely as not to be in the way and get soiled. The chief rests on a 2 inch truncated multilevel beveled black marble base, signed on the bronze base: Nick. H: 22 inches, L; 10 inches, W: 7 inches. Approximate weight: 21 lbs. 2. Indian Maiden with Papoose bronze (Am: 20th C unsigned). Tall Indian lady dressed in Western Native American attire carrying her child on her back in a papoose probably going to an Indian ceremony. The stature rests on a square truncated multilevel black marble plinth. H: 19 inch, W: 8 inch, L: 7 inch. Approximate weight: 25 lbs.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with a well aged dark bronze patina. Plinth is excellent.
