Single bead front sight on a solid rib marked "WILLIAM FORD. 4 PRICE STREET, BIRMINGHAM." The barrels feature 2 1/2 inch chambers, choked full/cylinder with extractors. The barrel flats and receiver flats are stamped with several English proofmarks. Fine scroll engraved casehardened receiver, break lever, forearm hardware and trigger guard. "ALEX HENRY" is marked on both sides of the locks. The shotgun has double triggers, straight grip stock with checkered forearm and wrist, double trigger, tang safety, initial shield, initial oval and bare checkered butt with heel and toe plates engraved hardware.

Very good. The barrels retain 80% of the blue refinish with scattered scratches overall. The receiver, break lever, double triggers, forearm hardware and trigger guard retains 60% of the original case colors fading to a smooth grey patina. The wood is good with scattered scratches, dings and pressure dents. There is a sliver of wood missing on the right side of the forearm. Checkering is worn but still sharp.
