Manufactured from 1905 to 1930. Single steel bead sight, 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked modified/modified, and extractors. The right barrel is marked "CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" with the left barrel marked "MADE BY A.H. FOX GUN CO. PHILA. PA. U.S.A.". Both barrels have a wedge of scrollwork at the breech. C Grade scroll and game bird scene engraved box lock action with "ANSLEY H. FOX" marked on the sides. Double triggers, automatic tang safety and a nicely figured fancy walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with an extended butt and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Fully checkered matching walnut splinter forearm with engraved hardware and an ebony insert. Length of pull is 14 3/4 inches.

Professionally refinished, the barrels retain 97% high quality blue finish with some muzzle and forearm wear. The casehardened components retain 97% of case colors mixing to a copper and smooth gray patina. The forearm is excellent and shows some minor handling/storage marks. The buttstock has been extended and shows minor scattered scratches and dings. Checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
