Manufactured in 1903. Standard two-line barrel address/patent date on the top flat ahead of the rear sight and "38 W.C.F." at the breech. The upper tang is marked with the three-line, model, maker, trade mark and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. Blade front sight and adjustable rear buckhorn sporting sight, blue finish with casehardened hammer and lever. Mounted with a smooth walnut forearm with a steel forend cap and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
