This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1903 Hammerless Pistol that was manufactured in 1928. This wonderful pistol is accompanied by an original pre-war maroon shipping box, hand numbered to a different gun. The slide has the late one-block, two-line, Colt address and patent dates ending in 1897 and 1903 with the Colt Rampant Horse logo behind the serrations. The right side is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS", and is fitted with standard fixed sights. The serial number is marked on the left side of the frame. The barrel has the all blued finish with the bright polished chamber area. It is fitted with Colt checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions at the top of each grip panel. The pistol comes with one partially blued magazine marked on the base plate, "CAL .32/COLT". As noted it comes with an original maroon shipping box with the end label that reads "COLT AUTOMATIC PISTOL .32". It also includes an original Colt instruction sheet, a smaller special instruction sheet and a glass vial of oil with a cork stopper. Also included is a green canvas case marked "A.R. SNYDER" on the front flap.

Excellent with 99% original finish, and only minimal handling marks. Grips are excellent. Box is very good (numbered to another pistol), with some corner and edge wear. Mechanically excellent.
