Manufactured in 1921 and subsequently returned to factory. Fixed sights, the two-line patent and address markings on the left side of the slide, caliber marks on the right and Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The serial number and factory rework mark (looks like a question mark) are present under slide. Finished in nickel, with an unmarked blue magazine and checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in a banner at the top and the Rampant Colt at the bottom. With a Colt "black box" hand numbered on the bottom, proper label (including separate red text "NICKEL" label) on the end and the merchant sticker of Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company of Chicago, Illinois.

Very fine as factory refurbished with 95% of the nickel finish showing some light handling marks and flaking overall. Mild spotting is present in the low areas on the grip safety and the replacement magazine has been reblued. Grips are very good with some light dings. The box shows extensive tape repairs, the serial number is faded but legible and some loss of the label material has occurred. Mechanically excellent.

Made in 1910. Fixed sights, with the two line/ two block patent dates and address on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt, and the caliber markings on the right beneath the ejector port. Trigger guard is marked "VP" and "R" on the left side, with a niter blue trigger and safety, and checkered grips with a scalloped "COLT" banner and Rampant Colt imprint.

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing a gray patina on the grip straps, underside of the frame and right side of the slide, bright wear along the high edges, and scattered handling marks. Strong niter blue is present on the trigger and in the protected areas on the safety. Grips are fine, with some mild verdigris around the screw and a few pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
