Manufactured in 1912. Fixed sights. The two-line/two-block patent dates and address are on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt, and the caliber markings are on the right. The trigger guard bow is marked with the Colt triangle "VP" proof with a pair of Colt banner and Rampant Colt marked grips, polished commercial Colt blue finish.

Very fine overall with 70% original blue finish, scattered small scratches, edge wear and areas of smooth gray patina. Grips are fine with crisp checkering and clear reliefs. Mechanically excellent.
