Description:

Colt 1919 production, commercial Government Model .45 ACP. The right side of the slide is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45" in two-lines, the left side is marked with the two-line/two-block 1897 to 1913 patent dates and the Colt address with the Rampant Colt in between. The right side of the frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL / C112313". The Colt "VP" proof is stamped on the left front trigger guard bow. Fixed low profile combat style sights, grip and lever safety, lanyard ring on the rear butt and checkered grips. The magazine is a two-tone blue and bright finish.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 60% faded original blue finish. Displaying areas of edge wear on the high points and the muzzle, with scattered small scratches, and dings. Front grip strap has been lightly sanded and has a smooth gray patina. Mainspring housing shows scattered red spotting. Grips are very good with crisp checkering and scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
