Manufactured in 1931. Blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, with the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt ahead of the serrations and the Colt Ace logo and caliber markings on the right. The frame is marked "20" on the right side of the trigger guard, "3/VP" on the left and fitted with a short milled trigger, wide checkered hammer, checkered arched mainspring housing and a set of fully checkered grips. With a Colt black box labeled for a 22 Ace and an extra magazine.

Very fine as partially refinished (cold blue present on top left side of slide), with 95% of the bright original blue finish remaining on balance, showing some bright edge wear, mild handling marks and some light spotting overall. There are a few takedown scratches around the slide stop. Grips are excellent, with a few light dings on the crisp checkering. The box is fair as repaired and numbered to a different pistol. Mechanically excellent.
