Manufactured in 1941. It has a hooded blade front sight on a stippled ramp. The rear sight dovetail has a filler block installed and there is a Tasco 3-7x variable power scope on an unmarked receiver mount. There is also a base for a Lyman aperture sight attached at the receiver. "SPORTING" is marked in front of the magazine well. Mounted on a diamond pattern checkered walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels, plastic grip cap and checkered steel buttplate along with a leather claw sling.

Excellent overall with 98% original blue finish and minimal handling marks. Stock is excellent. Sling is very good with supple leather and verdigris at the metal components. Mechanically excellent.
