Installed in a 51 inch wide and 41 inch tall frame, hardwood construction with a gold painted plaster veneer decorated with scroll and floral patterns around the exterior and a repeating motif of a stalking big cat on the interior, the visible section of the canvas measures 39 1/2 inches wide and 29 1/2 inches tall, with no visible signature. The center of the scene is occupied by a turkey in a woodland scene, with a second turkey off to the left in the background. Both turkeys appear to be hens, of an unspecified species. The canvas has been stretched over a solid hardwood panel, with no additional markings on the rear of the panel or the frame; the consignor has stated that this was at the request of the original commissioner.

Excellent, with some light wear on the frame and attractive color and detail in the painting.
