Ruger's version of the Colt AR15/M4 carbine manufactured with a piston driven gas system. Full length monolithic block type flat top upper receiver and full length rigid handguards. The top of the receiver and handguards have the Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny rails, with each slot numbered for quick reattachment of the sights. Fitted with Ruger folding front and rear tactical sights and a slightly heavier profile Ruger barrel with birdcage flash hider and with a flat top gas block also with rails on top that has a two position adjustable gas plug. It has a chrome plated bolt carrier and bolt with the brass deflector and forward assist on the right side of the receiver. It has the standard Ruger manufactured four position telescoping buttstock. Standard markings. Magazine absent.

Excellent with 99% of the original Ruger factory finish. A really nice looking little rifle with the new gas system.
