According to the included factory test target, this rifle passed final inspection in March of 1937, as part of a contract for the government of Brazil. Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the Brazilian Crest on top of the receiver ring, a number of "crown/letter" German proofs and the one-line address on the left side wall. Smooth pistol grip stock, with grasping grooves on the forearm, sling bases and a flat buttplate. Included with the rifle is an unmarked shipping box, a matching-numbered bayonet (17 inches overall, 11 3/4 inch blade, bright steel, no makers marks, un-numbered blue steel sheath), brown leather sling and the aforementioned target.

Excellent plus, with 99% of the original blue finish, showing some mild spotting and handling marks. The stock is also excellent, with some mild dings on the underside of the wrist and scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
