Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the post-1954 Venezuela coat of arms on top of the chamber and the one-line FN address on the right. A machined steel mounting base has been secured to the left side of the receiver and is fitted with a Weaver Marksman 3-9x scope with Echo-brand rings. The barrel is fitted with a flash hider and bayonet lug and the gas tube has a hand-adjustable plug. Smooth hardwood stock, with a steel buttplate and a small combination tool in the trapdoor compartment.

Very Fine, with 85% of the original black finish, showing some bright wear along the edges and bearing surfaces and some scattered handling marks. The scope base is a custom-fabricated component, which moves about a bit in the receiver slot. The exterior of the scope shows areas of brown patina and the optics are clear. Mild dings are visible on the replacement stock, with a retention bolt absent from the left side near the magazine. Mechanically excellent.
