Custom built around a Birmingham proofed Martini action and chambered for the 450 Rigby cartridge. This 2.4 inch cartridge is identical with the US 45-90 cartridge and considered interchangeable. Dovetailed beaded blade front sight and an unmarked 3-leaf express rear sight on the barrel, which is marked "450 Rigby" on the upper right flat. The casehardened receiver is lightly scroll engraved, with a combination cocking indicator and safety on the right side, contoured cocking lever behind the trigger guard and a medium range flip up peep sight secured to the wood of the wrist. Checkered extra fancy English walnut pistol grip stock with a Schnabel tip forearm, checkered steel grip cap and a serrated buttplate.

Excellent as custom made, with 98% of the blue finish, showing minor handling marks overall. Bright and vivid color is present on the receiver, with a plum patina on the trigger guard and the cocking lever tip. The retention screw for the break lever pin is chipped and tool marks are present on some screws. The stock is excellent, with crisp checkering and attractive grain. Mechanically very good.
