Blade front and 1000-meter tangent rear sights, with "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N" on top of the chamber, serial number on the upper left, and a "crown/crown/U" proof on the left flat and on top of the bolt. The two-line address is present on the right side of the frame, with an unmarked "New Safety" style small ring hammer, niter blue safety lever, takedown stud and rear sight components, straw finished trigger and checkered Gutta Percha grips with "MW" Mauser Werke monograms at the top. With a hardwood combination stock and holster with "482" on the mounting iron, a russet leather belt harness with "A.Ph.HOFFMANN/BERLIN/1916" on the rear, cleaning rod and a spare magazine spring.

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing a number of tiny dents on the barrel, a few scratches on the frame and extension, light spotting and areas of gray patina. Traces of the straw colors remain in the protected areas, with over half of the original niter blue. The grips are fine with moderate wear and some light handling marks. The shoulder stock is very good with some cracking around the mouth and iron, a few light chips and some dings and the harness is very good, with some scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
