Manufactured circa 1900-1916. Blade front and notch rear sights with the three-line makers markings on the left side of the receiver, stacked "crown/N" proofs on the slide, barrel and frame and matching numbers on the bolt, barrel and frame. Fitted with a set of "RMF" monogrammed grips and a "FN" marked magazine. Included with the pistol is a properly sized Japanese general officer pattern flap holster, brown leather with hand-marked kanji inside the flap and an on-board pouch for the included unmarked extra magazine. High ranking Japanese officers were not issued a sidearm by the Army or Navy and would often gear up with purchased or captured American or European hardware.

Fair with 70% of the blue finish showing wear and mild pitting along the high edges, scattered handling marks and mild spotting. The grips show a number of chips and worm holes. The holster is good with some areas of scuffing and lost stitching. Mechanically very good.
