Description:

This is an example of a DWM Model 1908 First issued military that has been upgraded by Arsenal. Fixed sights, with a blank chamber and "DWM" monogram on the toggle. The Imperial Eagle firing proof is present on the left side of the barrel, extension and breechblock, a pair of "crown/gothic letter" proofs on the left side of the extension, external numbers (matching except for magazine) and"28.R.5.1." on the front strap. Has had the hold open device added byh Arsenal. Fitted with straw finished small components, checkered grips, and a nickel finish magazine with wood base.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 70% of the faded original blue finish, showing extensive areas of mild pitting on the barrel and extension, light handling marks, bright edge wear, areas of brown patina and scattered spotting. 35% of the original straw finish is present, strongest on the trigger and ejector assembly, with a mixed gray color and light spotting on the remainder. Grips are good, with some darkening around the edges and mid dings. Mechanically excellent.
