Description:

Both swords feature curved single fuller blades, gilt brass hilts with oak leaf decoration, Nazi eagle languets, wire wrapped black celluloid grips and a black enamel finished scabbard. 1) Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Company sword, 40 inches overall with a 35 inch blade and a red-eyed "jawless" lion pommel. 2) Eickhorn sword, 36 7/8 inches overall with a 32 inch blade, "D.R.P." stamped cross guard and a pink-eyed "female" lion head pommel.

Rating Definition:

1) Fine. Some light dings and scuffs are present on the blade, 60% of the original gold on the hilt, a fine aged patina on the brass, a small crack at the base of the grip, some loose wire and some dents, scuffs and flaking of the scabbard. 2) Very good showing some light sheath wear on the blade, over half the gilt finish, well aged brass, and mild scuffs on the scabbard.
